Whimsical dragon flies and sunny bright colors are playfully displayed in the novelty patterns. Every color of the rainbow and more fills these striking tonal textures and geometric companion prints designed by Ro Gregg. Treat yourself to a Caribbean vacation as you piece together a magical quilt.

I hope to see you at one of the retreats!

Where is the picture gallery? I know I’ve seen pics from previous retreats but now can’t find them
Pictures from past retreats can be found under the “Quilt Retreats” tab (in the list on the right side column). But here’s an easy link to those posts: http://sheilareinke.wordpress.com/tag/quilt-retreat/

Barb,
I should have info on the blog very soon. Keep checking.
Sheila
Patiently (well, maybe not so patiently) waiting for more information on the fall retreats. I’m ready!
Any more info. on the fall retreat project?
Hi, Sheila!
Any ideas on the fall retreats yet?
IN response to everyone’s concerns – yes, we have information on the fall retreats up. Still no pictures of the quilt colors – but an example picture has been posted, and as soon as Sheila has a chance to examine the fabrics that have been ordered, final decisions will be made. Looks like a great quilt for fall weather!
Norma,
I would love to have you come. Always enjoy having you come.

Susan,
No, it is not hard. I taught it to several beginners last year in Nebraska and Iowa. I am sewing on the two different selections of fabric right now. One is batis fabrics that are blue/lavender – the other one is calico that is blue/brown color combination. The cotton fabric would be a little easier to work with than the batics but either I think would be great. Last years quilt was much harder than this one would be.
Sheila
Becky,
Is it okay for you to just come out to Carol Joy Holling again? The fabric is packed in my van and I am not going to unload till the retreat at Ashland. OR you can just call me after the retreat.
Sheila
I’m excited about spring retreat! Anxious to see you again, Sheila. Will you be posting the fabrics so we can think about it ahead of time? Thanks.
